How to contribute
Thank you for considering an active role with ParentingAintEasy.com, a place for Eastern Iowa parents to learn and engage with one another.
The success of the site will be dependent on a wide range of contributions from multiple people. Here is a look at the roles you can play. Keep in mind that there is no absolute and these roles are flexible.

The community manager’s role can best be defined by these words: a matchmaker, a spokesperson, a leader, an evangelist, and multi-tasker, a referee, a mediator and a babysitter. These people are dedicated to the community and have a passion for the subject and act in a proactive manner to serve the audience. These people must be likable and hard working. They must also be patient. Engaging an online community takes time and effort. Here is a case study on the importance of an active community manager.

These people will contribute to the site when it makes sense and adds value to the conversation happening in the community. This people also will keep track of comments and discussion boards and add input to them as needed. These people would be expected to contribute on a weekly basis.
